Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaik Ailo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and riki tamoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
tamoe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ailo tries to avoid it but tamoe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ailo to the ground. Ailo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ailo tries to clinch but tamoe moves out of range.

and Ailo counters with a single leg into guard. tamoe didn't expect that.
Ailo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of tamoe's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ailo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Ailo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Ailo is keen to just control but tamoe is a slippery customer.

tamoe scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Ailo manages to mount him!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ailo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Ailo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Ailo scores with a couple of good head shots there.
tamoe looks gassed!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ailo goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now tamoe is on top in guard.

tamoe thows a huge punch but Ailo dodges it nicely.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ailo is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But tamoe has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from tamoe!
