Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Young Buck (ranked 5608 p4p, 495 weight class) and Dave Thompson (ranked 5464 p4p, 486 weight class). Buck comes into the arena with My Way blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Buck tries to clinch up but Thompson circles away and keeps his distance.

Thompson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Buck sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Buck gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Thompson lands a lovely overhand right.
Buck checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Buck clobbers Thompson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
That has opened up Dave Thompson's cut even more.

The fight stays on the outside here - Buck looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Buck bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Thompson has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Buck.
Thompson tries to clinch up but Buck circles away and keeps his distance.

We've been informed that Thompson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Buck has Thompson pressed against the cage, preventing Thompson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Buck lands an elbow inside.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Buck tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Thompson's elbow.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Thompson swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Buck counters with a crisp one two that drops Thompson! Buck thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Thompson to his feet! Thompson is in big trouble!
Thompson is rocked!
Thompson is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Buck Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Thompson is out cold, face down on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Young Buck!
