The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gauthier moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Gauthier on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Naharis. Naharis obviously looking to wear him down.
Gauthier is looking to clinch but Naharis is avoiding it.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Naharis - that will leave a mark!
Gauthier gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Gauthier misses with an elbow over the top.
Naharis swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Naharis misses with some punches.
Naharis scores with a shoulder strike.
Still in the clinch, Naharis scores with a nice short uppercut.
Naharis manages to break the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gauthier tries to clinch up
and Naharis counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Gauthier swings for the body but Naharis moves out of range.
Naharis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gauthier .
Gauthier throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gauthier avoids the head kick by Naharis.
Sloppy strikes from Gauthier . Those never looked like landing.
Gauthier moves to clinch but Naharis breaks away
and Gauthier takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gauthier gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Naharis keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gauthier 's efforts to push away.
Naharis lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Gauthier .
Naharis lands a left hand.
Naharis lands on the inside with an uppercut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Yuri Naharis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Naharis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gauthier checks the leg kick nicely there.
Gauthier tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Naharis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Gauthier fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Naharis, pushing him back against the ropes.

Naharis misses with the head strike.
Naharis throws a punch but it's blocked by Gauthier .
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Naharis using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Gauthier has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Naharis breaks the clinch.
Naharis swats away the attempt to clinch by Gauthier .

Naharis bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Naharis scores with a push kick.
Naharis lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Naharis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Naharis scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Naharis uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gauthier has time to react.
Naharis's jab looks to have found its range, popping Gauthier under the eye.
Gauthier takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Naharis plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Gauthier swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Gauthier face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

Yuri Naharis decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
