Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Konner McKregor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Midget!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKregor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Crunch! McKregor slams his shin into Midget's torso.
McKregor connects with a jab.
McKregor throws a looping overhand right but Midget ducks down to avoid it.
McKregor throws a right and a left that both miss.
Midget drops down looking to force a counter takedown but McKregor defends it well.
McKregor throws out a powerful jab.
McKregor smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
McKregor throws a nice inside leg kick.
A slow jab from McKregor misses its intended target.
McKregor throws a head kick that misses.
Midget checks a leg kick.
Midget drops down looking to force a counter takedown but McKregor defends it well.
McKregor throws a lazy right hand but Midget sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
McKregor misses with a right hand

so Midget counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

McKregor is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

That's one minute gone in the round.

McKregor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A punch lands to the side of Midget 's head but he takes it in his stride.
McKregor throws a leg kick

and Midget counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
McKregor's coaches at Jacks Fight Club have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
McKregor keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Midget is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McKregor is just riding it out for now. Midget eventually gives up the hold.

Midget is looking for a kimura but McKregor is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Midget to get the leverage.
McKregor is trying to stand.
Midget is looking to take a break and control but McKregor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Midget is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McKregor doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Midget.
Midget stops McKregor from getting back to his feet.

Midget is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! McKregor is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Justin Midget!
