Amaral on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Rafael Amaral has been cut.
Whitfield lands with a nice body punch.
Whitfield misses with a jab to the body
and Amaral counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Whitfield connects with a nice looking jab.
Nice uppercut there from Whitfield.
Amaral is rocked!
Whitfield looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Whitfield backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Amaral's temple! It sends Amaral violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Whitfield celebrates and the doctors try to help Amaral!

Kevin Whitfield took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I've been in the gym for a long time and I've had the opportunity to train with and learn from the best fighters in the world - including Dustin Douglas. It's now my time - it's time for me to start my climb to the top of the ladder.'.
Rafael Amaral was interviewed post fight and said 'I'll be back!!!!'.
