Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Leopold Duval!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bubba Smith!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith clinches up against the cage.
Duval goes for a takedown attempt but Smith pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Smith pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Duval back to the cage. Smith follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Smith scores with a head kick.
It looks like Leopold Duval has been cut.
Duval shoots for a double leg takedown but Smith sprawls well. He's pushed Duval's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Smith keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leopold Duval. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Duval has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Duval takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith has taken the fight to the clinch.
Smith manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Smith decides to pull guard.

Smith keeping moving, preventing Duval from controlling successfully.
Smith manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Smith breaks the clinch.
Duval definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Smith moves into the clinch successfully.
Smith drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Duval is trying to break the clinch but Smith is controlling him.

Smith lands a takedown into guard.
Smith sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Smith must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Duval lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Smith looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Duval stands up and waves to Smith to follow him.
Smith throws a front kick that sends Duval stumbling back into the cage.

Smith clinches up against the cage.
Duval fails to pull the fight into his guard.
The referee is keeping an eye on Smith - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Duval has Smith pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Smith manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Smith drags the fight down to the ground.
Duval stops Smith from standing up.
Smith should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Duval wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.
Duval postures up in Smith's guard and throws a big left but Smith blocks it.
Smith is trying to control the position but Duval postures up.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Smith is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Smith shoots in for a double leg but Duval sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Smith moves into range and clinches up with Duval.
Smith jumps into guard, dragging Duval to the mat.
Duval drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Duval seems to have locked his on tight now - Smith screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Duval, as he picks up the win!
