Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Emmett Vaughn (ranked 6508 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paso Deniro (ranked 6786 p4p, 0 weight class). Paso Deniro will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Emmett Vaughn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Paso Deniro! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vaughn blocks a head kick by Deniro.
Deniro closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Vaughn quickly recovers to half guard. Deniro working the head and body with strikes. Vaughn is holding on to half guard well. Vaughn makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Vaughn drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vaughn wants to stand but Deniro has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Vaughn gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Excellent takedown into side control there by Vaughn. Vaughn stands up and beckons Deniro to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Deniro fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Vaughn closes the distance and pushes Deniro back into the cage. Vaughn tightens his grip and picks Deniro up, before dumping him to the ground. Deniro manages to land in guard. Vaughn decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Deniro, up you get! Deniro misses with the body kick and Vaughn counters with a nice double leg into side control. Deniro won't be happy with that. Vaughn decides to stand back up. Vaughn manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Deniro on his heels. He'll look to pass Deniro's guard now, I'm sure. Deniro not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Vaughn wants to stand but Deniro has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vaughn decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Deniro, up you get! Deniro looks winded! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vaughn closes the distance and pushes Deniro back into the cage. Vaughn is trying to push Deniro away but Deniro has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Deniro tries to pull guard but Vaughn holds him up against the cage and eventually Deniro drops back down to his feet.
Vaughn scores with a knee to the head.
Deniro breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Deniro throws a head kick that Vaughn semi-blocks.
Deniro tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vaughn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Deniro somewhat. Emmett Vaughn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paso Deniro.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Deniro shoots for a double leg takedown but Vaughn sprawls well. He's pushed Deniro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Vaughn tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Deniro manages to circle out of the way. Deniro scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Deniro shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vaughn sprawls well. Vaughn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Deniro gets slowly back to his feet. Vaughn drops down looking for a counter takedown but Deniro sprawls and moves away. Vaughn closes the distance and pushes Deniro back into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vaughn prevents the takedown attempt.
Deniro goes for a takedown in the clinch but Vaughn prevents it.
Deniro looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Vaughn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vaughn drives through with a takedown into guard. Vaughn with a nice head shot there. Vaughn gets to his feet. Deniro looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Vaughn clinches up against the cage. Vaughn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Emmett Vaughn dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Vaughn shoots in and gets a takedown into Deniro's guard. Deniro has a closed guard, preventing Vaughn from standing up. Vaughn gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Vaughn looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Deniro pushes Vaughn off but Vaughn dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vaughn creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Vaughn in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Deniro is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
