Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Montgomery Burns (ranked 8284 p4p, 724 weight class) and Jerome Weathers (ranked 21577 p4p, 852 weight class). Weathers comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Heathens - Twenty One Pilots kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Montgomery Burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jerome Weathers! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weathers darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Weathers misses with an uppercut
and Burns cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jab, jab by Weathers - just one landing. Jerome Weathers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Weathers misses with an uppercut
and Weathers takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Jerome Weathers has been cut. Weathers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

enabling Burns to counter with a crisp jab. Burns circles away from the clinch attempt.

Weathers misses with a series of wild punches.
Weathers missing with a left hand there. Burns was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Burns tried to counter with a leg kick but Weathers avoided it. Burns bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Burns throws a hook but Weathers avoids it easily. Weathers works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Burns swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Weathers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Burns moves away. Burns is looking to counter punch. Weathers misses with a body kick. Weathers connects with a looping right hand.
Weathers feints a jab promting Burns to slip. Weathers then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Burns slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Burns tries to move into range but Weathers moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Weathers checks a low kick from Burns. Burns lands the left hand. The fight moves into the clinch position. Weathers blocks an uppercut.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Weathers is stalling here.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Weathers lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Burns backwards. Burns prevents a body shot from Weathers. Burns fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Weathers tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Burns avoids it. Weathers is trying to maintain a safe position but Burns gets an underhook and turns Weathers into the ropes. Weathers is trying to stall.
Weathers throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Burns misses with a hook from the clinch. Weathers misses with a body punch.
Weathers has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Burns seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Weathers can turn it around. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Weathers. Weathers using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Burns has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Jerome Weathers dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jerome Weathers's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
The fighters circling - Weathers throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A right-left combo lands from Weathers. Weathers scores with a jab. Burns acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Burns keeps the fight on the outside. Weathers throws a jab but it's blocked by Burns. Burns walks into a stiff left hand from Weathers. Jerome Weathers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Weathers lands a high kick!
Weathers misses the shot to the body. Weathers has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Weathers misses with the body kick and Burns counters with an outside leg kick.
Weathers scores with a nice strike. Jerome Weathers seems to be getting the better of the standup. Weathers throws a nice head kick!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Burns throws out a head kick that Weathers doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Weathers crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Weathers's eyes and has decided to let it go on! Weathers walks into a big right hand from Burns and goes down! The referee sends Burns to a neutral corner as Weathers gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.

That has opened up Jerome Weathers's cut even more. A solid leg kick lands there for Weathers.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice shot lands for Weathers. A big right from Weathers misses. An inside leg kick from Weathers misses. Weathers looks to land a combination but Burns avoids it well. Burns cracks Weathers with a right hand to the side of the head. Weathers misses with a head kick.
Burns throws out a powerful jab.
The cut above Jerome Weathers's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Burns connects with a nice looking jab.
Weathers is still on wobbly legs! Can Burns finish him? Weathers loads up on a big right hand but Burns slips the punch. Weathers seems to have recovered his senses. Burns throws a lazy right hand but Weathers sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Weathers throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Burns counters with a lead uppercut that lands right on the button! Weathers goes down! Will Weathers beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's up! No problem. Let's get back to the action! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Burns plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Weathers to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Weathers just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
