Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Atlas Youmg!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Youmg tries to avoid it but Richards manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Youmg to the ground. Youmg escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice shot lands for Youmg.

It looks like Les Richards has been cut.
Richards tries to score a power double leg takedown but Youmg sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Richards somewhat.
Richards shoots in looking for a takedown. Youmg tries to sprawl out of it but Richards keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Youmg manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Les Richards. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Youmg tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Richards shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Youmg but Youmg pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Richards shoots for a double leg takedown but Youmg sprawls well. He's pushed Richards's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Youmg wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Youmg drops Richards with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Richards looks back up at him and smiles so Youmg waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Richards is rocked!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Oh Richards is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Youmg is looking to break free of the clinch but Richards has double underhooks.

Youmg breaks the clinch.
Richards backs away from a small jab... but Youmg lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Richards crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Youmg with a spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Atlas Youmg!
Atlas Youmg was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
