Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ohad Everett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logan McVie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Everett comes into the arena with Dont Monkey With Another Mans Monkey blaring out of the sound system. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ohad Everett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Logan McVie! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Steve Montenegro and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for McVie with that takedown attempt. Everett dodges the punch combination from McVie.
McVie scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. McVie thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Everett's head. McVie trying to control the action but Everett is working from the bottom. McVie stops Everett from getting back to his feet.
McVie is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Everett has managed to free his arm - good work. McVie is looking for a kimura here.
McVie throws a strike but Everett avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Everett manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. McVie looks gassed! Everett lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Everett thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Everett has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. McVie looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Everett with a nice head shot there. Everett seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Everett won't allow McVie to get back to his feet. McVie tries to land a sweep but no joy. McVie looking for a guillotine here but Everett defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Everett lands a couple of decent looking shots. Everett stands up over McVie, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Everett is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Everett chips away with some ground and pound. Everett scoring with punches to the head and body. McVie tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Everett's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Everett trying to control the position from guard on top but McVie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Everett makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Everett is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. McVie looking for a guillotine here but Everett defends easily.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Everett decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ohad Everett dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Everett uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Everett scores with a takedown into McVie's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Everett drops back looking for a leg! McVie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McVie manages to kick Everett off! Everett jumps back into McVie's guard. McVie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Everett can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Everett stands up from McVie's guard - Everett perhaps looking for a knockout. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McVie jabs Everett right on the nose. Everett blinks but takes it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. McVie misses with a takedown attempt and Everett counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McVie's guard now. Everett controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Everett landing with the ground and pound. McVie not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
McVie being controlled here, momentarily. McVie is trying to keep Everett in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Everett gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Everett shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. McVie is desperately trying to improve his position but Everett has a good base and remains in mount. Everett wants to control the pace but McVie is squirming around nicely. McVie defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Everett. McVie swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. McVie can't escape the position.
McVie tries to control the position but Everett now has his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Everett gets his hands free as McVie looks to control. McVie has hold of Everett's leg, trying to break free but it's let Everett lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! McVie is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Everett throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
