Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maksim Semenov (ranked 5836 p4p, 628 weight class) and Sammy Zelaya (ranked 24949 p4p, 0 weight class). Zelaya comes into a darkened arena with his song building. A.B.C kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Semenov wants to slow Zelaya down by chopping away at his legs.
Semenov has Zelaya up against the cage in a clinch.
Zelaya keeps control of Semenov as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Zelaya turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Zelaya manages to end up in side control.
Semenov throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Zelaya fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Semenov avoids the head kick by Zelaya.
A punch combination from Semenov misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Semenov throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

and Semenov counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Zelaya misses with a body shot.
Semenov lands with a nice combination. Zelaya backs away looking to recover.
Zelaya tries for a takedown but Semenov circles away easily
and Semenov counters with a crisp one two that drops Zelaya! Semenov thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Zelaya to his feet! Zelaya is in big trouble!
Zelaya is rocked!
It looks like Sammy Zelaya has been cut.
Maksim Semenov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sammy Zelaya.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Semenov connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Zelaya to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Semenov!
