Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Welington Silva!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands a head shot.
Silva misses with a body shot

and Lê counters by moving into the clinch.

Lê pulls Silva into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva wanted to stand there but Lê had control of the position.
Lê definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Lê is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Silva drops back looking for a leg! Lê is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lê manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Lê's guard.
Silva keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lê's head.

Lê jabs Silva to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Lê dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Lê's head and hops out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lê counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Silva is looking to clinch.
Silva wants to clinch up but Lê keeps it at a distance.

Lê pushes Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
Lê is working for takedown but Silva is calmly controlling the position for now.

Lê decides to pull guard.
Silva is looking to stand up but Lê won't let him.

Silva gets to his feet. Lê looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Lê closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lê blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Silva takes a shot to the head.
A frustrated look appears on Silva's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Silva wants to break the clinch but can't.
Silva gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lê.

Silva has had enough of the clinch but Lê keeps him there for the moment.
