Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hershel Cox (ranked 25584 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krasimir Doichinov (ranked 6505 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Hershel Cox has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Hershel Cox seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krasimir Doichinov!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cox looking to score a takedown here. Doichinov is defending well but Cox drives through and ends up in Doichinov's guard.
Cox stays in close to Doichinov's body and controls the position.
Cox's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Doichinov wants to sweep but no luck.
Cox not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Cox is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cox stays in close to Doichinov's body and controls the position.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Cox's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Cox sitting in guard here, content to control.
Doichinov wants to sweep but no luck.
Cox connects with a couple of short punches.
Cox pushing down on Doichinov's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Doichinov is trying to control but Cox passes into side control!
Cox is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Doichinov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Doichinov is letting Cox control him for a moment.
Doichinov wants to control but Cox postures up.
Cox really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cox has an Americana. Doichinov didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cox is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cox hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
