Gonza kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mononoke Hime. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jose Cajellon enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cajellon takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cajellon shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Nice body punch from Gonza.
Gonza scores with a jab. Cajellon acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Gonza scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Cajellon takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gonza circles away from the clinch attempt

and Gonza counters with a crisp right hand that drops Cajellon! Gonza lets Cajellon back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Gonza avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Gonza cracks Cajellon with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Cajellon looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Gonza finish him?
Cajellon is still on wobbly legs! Can Gonza finish him?
Cajellon tries to clinch but Gonza moves out of range.
BAM! Gonza delivers a spinning backfist that drops Cajellon like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

After the fight, Captain Gonza was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
