The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasco tries to close the distance and clinch but Pharoni swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pharoni throws a right and a left that Vasco avoids nicely.
Vasco rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pharoni moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Vasco moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Vasco looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Pharoni drops Vasco with a beautiful combination! Vasco stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pharoni is looking for the KO!

It looks like Matheus Vasco has been cut.
Pharoni steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Vasco is out on his feet! Pharoni sets himself and nearly takes Vasco's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
