Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Stelling (ranked 7633 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bessarion Alexius (ranked 2855 p4p, 0 weight class). Stelling comes to the cage accompanied by London Calling. Alexius has chosen A Country Boy Can Survive as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexius moves into the clinch.
Alexius lands a right hand that snaps the head of Stelling backwards.
Alexius is pressed up against the cage. Stelling has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Alexius down to the mat. Alexius avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Stelling walks into a stiff left hand from Alexius.
Alexius clinches up with Stelling and pushes him back against the cage.
Stelling is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Alexius is defending well.
Alexius pushes Stelling back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Alexius decides to pull guard.
Stelling advances position into side control!
Alexius is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Stelling 's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Stelling stops Alexius from getting back to his feet.

Stelling wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Alexius manages to pass to side control.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stelling is defended easily by Alexius.

Alexius throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Stelling throws a head kick but Alexius moves out of range.
Stelling gets tackled into the cage by Alexius. Alexius maintains the clinch.
Alexius turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Alexius manages to end up in side control.

Alexius stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Bessarion Alexius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alexius has closed the distance and engaged Stelling in a clinch.
Alexius has Stelling pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Alexius pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Stelling tumbling to the mat - Alexius dives into Stelling 's guard.

Stelling bucks up and tries to throw Alexius off but instead Alexius has got his back!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stelling is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Alexius.

Alexius is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, with Alexius on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Stelling is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Let's hope that Alexius has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Alexius's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Stelling wants to get back to his feet.

Bessarion Alexius showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Bessarion Alexius comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Alexius has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
