Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Leonard Mclure!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sheet Set!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Set gets a clinch.
Set's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Set lands a high kick!
Mclure misses with a two punch combination.
Set uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mclure.
Mclure lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A head kick by Set misses
and Mclure counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Set swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mclure counters with a stiff right hand.
Set throws a head kick that half lands.
Mclure swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Set lands with a kick to the temple. Mclure shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Set with a lazy takedown attempt
and Mclure counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Set looks winded!
Mclure lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Sheet Set has been cut.
Set takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Mclure walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Set checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Set walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Mclure swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
