Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zhengtao Wei (ranked 2571 p4p, 330 weight class) and Rainbow Hero (ranked 2383 p4p, 313 weight class). Hero is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Пачка сигар. Zhengtao Wei could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rainbow Hero's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wei tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Hero takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Wei thuds his right hand into Hero's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Wei takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hero punishes Wei's body with a nice straight punch.
Hero throws a jab but it's blocked by Wei.
Hero connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Hero fakes the leg kick and cracks Wei in the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hero avoids the body shot from Wei.
Hero turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Rainbow Hero is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hero throws a right hand that Wei ducks under and follows up with a left that Wei also avoids with ease.
Hero scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Wei lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Wei tries to land a front kick but Hero steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hero has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wei finds it's way round the side to connect with Hero's head.

and Wei counters with a right hand that sends Hero tumbling to the canvas! Can Wei finish him? He dives into Hero's guard looking to do just that!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hero seems to have recovered his senses.

Hero has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wei can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hero is staying active underneath Wei, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Zhengtao Wei will probably get the nod.

Wei lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Wei throws a lazy right hand but Hero sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hero. Wei shrugs it off though.
Zhengtao Wei is winning the standup battle so far.
Hero ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Wei drives through with a takedown into Hero's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Wei is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hero is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hero has escaped and now he's on top!

Hero is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wei doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hero.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hero stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wei swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hero sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wei's guard.
Wei is looking for a sweep. Hero is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hero is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wei defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wei wants to improve his position but Hero is controlling well.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hero seems to be working for a kimura but Wei defends the submission attempt.

Hero wants to control from the top but Wei keeps moving.

Rainbow Hero showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Wei takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Wei throws the left hand but Hero avoids the punch easily.
Hero uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wei.

Hero bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wei's head backwards.
Hero sizes up Wei with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hero swings for the body but Wei moves out of range.
Wei connects with a leg kick. Hero looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wei fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hero looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wei misses with a few strikes there.
Hero now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Hero fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wei manages to avoid it.

Hero connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Hero scores with a hook.
Wei closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hero circles away.
Hero connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Wei displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hero throws out the jab.
Hero scores with a kick to the body.
Wei feints a jab promting Hero to slip. Wei then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hero slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Hero is looking to clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wei. Hero does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wei takes one to the side of the head.
Hero thumps Wei with a low kick.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wei slips a straight right by Hero.
Wei takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Hero tries to clinch up.
Hero throws a nice outside leg kick.
Hero lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Hero throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Wei is looking to land body kicks.
Hero connects with a single shot there.
Wei moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Wei closes the distance and clinches up with Hero, looking for a takedown. Wei pushes Hero against the cage but Hero circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wei drops his hands momentarily and Hero takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Wei is rocked!
Hero closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Oh Wei is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hero lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hero throws a big uppercut that drops Wei! More strikes from Hero and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Wei lies dazed against the cage as Hero celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rainbow Hero!
A relieved looking Rainbow Hero thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
