Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Behrouz Kourosh (ranked 6831 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bucky Yorkie (ranked 5289 p4p, 477 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Behrouz Kourosh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bucky Yorkie! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yorkie scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yorkie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kourosh with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Yorkie not landing any meaningful shots this time. Yorkie landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Yorkie looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Yorkie thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kourosh's head. Yorkie winds up and cracks Kourosh with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Kourosh is trying to maintain the position but Yorkie is very close to passing his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yorkie thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kourosh is looking to improve his position.
Yorkie missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yorkie is thwarting Kourosh's attempts to control the position. Kourosh is looking for a sweep. Yorkie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kourosh is looking to control Yorkie's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kourosh avoid being mounted? Yorkie not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kourosh wants to get back to full guard. Yorkie is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Yorkie seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Yorkie lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Yorkie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kourosh has hold of Yorkie's hands but Yorkie slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Yorkie working over Kourosh with some ground and pound. Kourosh looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Yorkie drops an elbow to the side of Kourosh's head. Kourosh has hold of Yorkie's hands but Yorkie slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Yorkie thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kourosh's head. Yorkie throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Yorkie lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Kourosh keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Yorkie trying to pass the guard but Kourosh defending well. Kourosh is trying is best to control the position here. Kourosh on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kourosh tries to get out of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yorkie stops Kourosh from getting back to his feet.
Yorkie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kourosh defends it well. Kourosh blocking the ground and pound attempt from Yorkie. Kourosh wants to get back to full guard but Yorkie has mounted him! Yorkie prevents Kourosh from getting the reversal. Kourosh manages to regain half guard. Good work. Yorkie working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kourosh avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Yorkie. Kourosh keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yorkie throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Yorkie looks to land a strike but Kourosh avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Yorkie scoring with punches to the head and body. Yorkie is fighting to break Kourosh's control of his arms but Kourosh is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Kourosh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kourosh throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Yorkie scoring with some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bucky Yorkie dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Yorkie defending well as Kourosh loads up on a big left hand. Behrouz Kourosh is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kourosh drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Yorkie sneaks back into half guard. Yorkie is doing well to control the position and prevent Kourosh from advancing to side control. Kourosh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yorkie keeps working. Yorkie is trying to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kourosh is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Yorkie is just riding it out for now. Kourosh eventually gives up the hold. Bucky Yorkie has got the better of the ground game so far. Kourosh is looking for a kimura but Yorkie is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kourosh to get the leverage.

Kourosh will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kourosh looking to sit in guard and control but Yorkie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Yorkie missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Yorkie forces his way into half guard. Kourosh is trying to maintain the position but Yorkie is very close to passing his half guard. Yorkie working over Kourosh with some ground and pound. Kourosh looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Kourosh is trying to get back to full guard. Yorkie has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Yorkie lands a nice short elbow. Yorkie seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Kourosh has recovered full guard. Yorkie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kourosh looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kourosh bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Yorkie's guard. Yorkie is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Kourosh drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Yorkie manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kourosh has Yorkie in his guard. Yorkie stands up over Kourosh, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Yorkie lands a couple of digs.

Kourosh working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Yorkie. Yorkie stands up over Kourosh, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kourosh holds on and takes a little breather. Kourosh is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Bucky Yorkie will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Yorkie connects with a nice short shot to Kourosh's temple. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Yorkie loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Yorkie throwing strikes from guard but Kourosh blocks nicely. Kourosh preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Kourosh misses with a hook. Yorkie keeps the fight on the outside. Kourosh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yorkie moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Yorkie feints the counter takedown. A jab from Kourosh misses. Kourosh misses with a two punch combination.
Yorkie avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kourosh waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Yorkie. Kourosh throws a shot from downtown. Yorkie moves away and avoids it. Yorkie circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kourosh shoots in looking for a takedown. Yorkie tries to sprawl out of it but Kourosh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yorkie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Yorkie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yorkie showed some decent athleticism there. Kourosh is trying to escape back to his feet but Yorkie uses the scramble to pass into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kourosh struggling a bit here. Yorkie working the ground and pound. Yorkie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kourosh keeps working. Behrouz Kourosh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Yorkie cracks Kourosh with a big elbow. Kourosh is trying to improve his position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Yorkie throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Bucky Yorkie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Yorkie winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
