Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cody Holloway (ranked 6359 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Faehn (ranked 5522 p4p, 279 weight class). The key to victory for Cody Holloway has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cody Holloway! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Faehn ! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Faehn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Holloway pinned against the cage. Holloway gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Holloway pushes Faehn up against the cage in a clinch. Faehn pulls guard effortlessly. Holloway wants to stand but Faehn has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Holloway wants to stand and escape but instead Faehn has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Faehn engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's one minute gone in the round. Faehn 's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Holloway has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Faehn has passed into side control.
Holloway is trying to get back to half guard. The referee asks Faehn politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Faehn prefers to stall for the moment though. Holloway is pushing Faehn 's head away, looking to escape. Faehn manages to hold on to the position though. Faehn looks up at the clock and then as Holloway takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Faehn smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Faehn is looking to take a break and control but Holloway is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Faehn wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Holloway, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Holloway tries to escape but Faehn is in control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Faehn is putting a hurting on Holloway here, landing some big shots from side control. Faehn has hold of Holloway's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Holloway seems comfortable defending it but Faehn has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Holloway is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Holloway is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Faehn couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mike Faehn !
