Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Jorgenson (ranked 6540 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Pulin (ranked 10111 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, John Jorgenson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vladimir Pulin! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pulin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jorgenson as he jumps to the side. Jorgenson stalks Pulin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Pulin's face. Pulin staggers backwards, shaken. Pulin lands a left and a right that send Jorgenson crashing to the mat, dazed. Pulin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Oooooh!!! Pulin has knocked Jorgenson down with a huge combo! Pulin steps away and waves a wobbly Jorgenson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Jorgenson is rocked! Pulin keeps the fight on the outside. Oh Jorgenson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Pulin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sloppy strikes from Pulin. Those never looked like landing. Jorgenson seems to have got his legs back now. Pulin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Jorgenson shoots in but no luck this time. Pulin is looking for the big counter here. Pulin slaps away a takedown attempt from Jorgenson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Oooooh!!! Pulin has knocked Jorgenson down with a huge combo! Pulin steps away and waves a wobbly Jorgenson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Jorgenson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Pulin checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pulin! But no joy. Pulin misses with a combination
and Jorgenson counters with a series of strikes. Pulin will be more careful next time no doubt.

Jorgenson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Pulin throws a counter combo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Jorgenson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pulin lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Jorgenson closes the distance and pushes Pulin back into the cage. Jorgenson is working for takedown but Pulin is calmly controlling the position for now. Jorgenson breaks from the clinch.

Jorgenson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jorgenson lands in his opponent's guard. Jorgenson is breathing heavily. Jorgenson stands and steps away. Pulin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Pulin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jorgenson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pulin as he avoids it easily. Jorgenson shoots for a double leg takedown but Pulin sprawls well. He's pushed Jorgenson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jorgenson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pulin pinned against the cage. Pulin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

letting Jorgenson counter with a right hand. Pulin throws a series of punches but Jorgenson moves out of range. Pulin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jorgenson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pulin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jorgenson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Jorgenson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jorgenson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pulin, up you get!

Jorgenson closes the distance and clinches. Jorgenson misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Pulin.
Jorgenson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pulin just stands there and leans against the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jorgenson. Pulin is trying to break free. Jorgenson jumps guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jorgenson pulls Pulin in close to his closed guard and prevents Pulin from doing any damage or advancing position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vladimir Pulin dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jorgenson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jorgenson shoots for a takedown but Pulin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Pulin misses with a few strikes there.

Pulin looks to land a combination but Jorgenson avoids it well. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jorgenson. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Jorgenson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horrible takedown attempt by Jorgenson or perhaps it was just good defense by Pulin, which made it look bad. Jorgenson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pulin avoids it really well and circles away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jorgenson rushes Pulin and presses him up against the cage. Jorgenson keeps control of Pulin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Pulin wants to break free but Jorgenson has control.
A frustrated look appears on Pulin's face as he tries to break the clinch. Jorgenson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Pulin throws a series of punches but Jorgenson avoids them all with ease. Pulin on the wrong end of a nice hook. Jorgenson looks for a takedown but Pulin sprawls well. Jorgenson is looking to clinch. Pulin has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jorgenson feints a jab promting Pulin to slip. Jorgenson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Pulin slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Pulin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
