Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Washe Lay (ranked 4256 p4p, 393 weight class) and Sergei Dovlatov (ranked 2914 p4p, 289 weight class). Dovlatov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Tear You Apart. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Washe Lay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sergei Dovlatov! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dovlatov keeps the fight on the outside. Dovlatov throws out a counter right but Lay avoids it with no problem. A head kick misses from Lay. Dovlatov counters with a body kick. Dovlatov misses with a leg kick. Lay closes the distance looking to clinch and Dovlatov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Dovlatov just misses with a punch to the body.
Dovlatov explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lay pushes Dovlatov up against the cage in a clinch. Lay trying to land knees to the body.
Lay tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Lay is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Lay with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Dovlatov lands a nice elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dovlatov on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Dovlatov pushes Lay back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. A quick uppercut on the inside from Dovlatov. Lay missing with knees to the body.
Lay misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Dovlatov.
Dovlatov throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Lays head. Dovlatov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Washe Lay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch lands to the side of Lay 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lay is rocked! Lay doesn't manage to clinch there - Dovlatov circles away.
Lay throws a leg kick letting Dovlatov counter with a right hand. Oh Lay is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dovlatov thuds his right hand into Lay's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Lay tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dovlatov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Dovlatov wants to slow Lay down by chopping away at his legs. Lay seems to have got his legs back now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lay closes the distance and clinches. Lay looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dovlatov gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Dovlatov can't find room to land a body shot as Lay controls the action.
Lay tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dovlatov avoids it. Dovlatov lands with a left to the head. Dovlatov breaks from the clinch.
Lay fails with an attempt to clinch.
A left lands for Dovlatov. Lay misses with a double jab.
Lay tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dovlatov paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lay forces Dovlatov back against the cage and clinches. A short uppercut from Dovlatov. Dovlatov avoiding damage as Lay throws knees to the body.
Dovlatov lands an elbow just above Lay 's eye. Dovlatov scores with a shoulder strike. Dovlatov softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Dovlatov lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dovlatov works on Lay's body with a couple of short punches. Dovlatov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A short right from Dovlatov on the inside. Dovlatov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dovlatov connects with a single shot there. Lay shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Dovlatov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lay closes the distance looking to clinch and Dovlatov finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Lay walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Dovlatov! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sergei Dovlatov! Sergei Dovlatov seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. In defeat, Washe Lay stepped up to the mic, saying 'fvck!'.
