Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Konrad Curze (ranked 5288 p4p, 564 weight class) and Dan The Beast (ranked 3628 p4p, 404 weight class). Curze comes to the cage accompanied by RIse of the Night Haunter. The Beast is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I'm Broken. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curze pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The Beast throws out a counter right but Curze avoids it with no problem.
The Beast avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The Beast appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Curze fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with The Beast, pushing him back against the cage.

Curze using the Thai plumb to throw knees but The Beast has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Curze lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

It looks like Dan The Beast has been cut.

The Beast gets control of Curze's arms and successfully pulls guard. The Beast will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
