Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lord Wilmore (ranked 5262 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Duggan (ranked 3528 p4p, 486 weight class). Wilmore has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lord Wilmore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ron Duggan! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilmore throws a jab when Duggan was well out of range. Duggan defending well as Wilmore loads up on a big left hand. Duggan just misses with a punch to the body.
Wilmore throwing a counter right hand but Duggan manages to avoid it. Duggan drives through and clinches with Wilmore against the cage.
Duggan blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Duggan wants a takedown.
Wilmore has Duggan pressed against the cage, preventing Duggan from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Duggan wants a takedown.
A short left from Wilmore. Duggan tries to pull guard but Wilmore won't allow it.
Lord Wilmore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ron Duggan. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duggan is trying to pull guard but Wilmore turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Duggan decides to pull guard. Duggan controlling the position. Duggan tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Duggan pulls Wilmore in to control the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Duggan can do anything to dispel that myth. Duggan wants to sweep here but Wilmore controlling him for the moment. Duggan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wilmore manages to get himself to full guard.
Wilmore is breathing heavily. Wilmore can't keep his opponent in guard - Duggan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Duggan looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duggan working Wilmore over with strikes. Duggan lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duggan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Duggan controlling the pace. Duggan stands up and beckons Wilmore to join him on the feet. Wilmore rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Duggan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Duggan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duggan showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Duggan throwing strikes from guard but Wilmore blocks nicely. Duggan showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Duggan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wilmore's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ron Duggan dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Wilmore displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Duggan. Duggan has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Duggan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Duggan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wilmore is looking to get back to his feet here but Duggan is keeping cool and he's managed to take Wilmore's back. Wilmore knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Duggan on the ground. Duggan controlling the position well here. Wilmore rolled but Duggan kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilmore is taking damage to the body and head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duggan is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Wilmore has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Duggan. Duggan lands a shot to the body. Duggan controlling from the back. Ron Duggan has got the better of the ground game so far. Let's hope that Duggan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Duggan is landing with strikes from the back. Duggan slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Duggan is continuing to stall. Duggan connects with a big shot to the side of Wilmore's head.
Duggan is riding his opponent, not letting Wilmore buck him off. Duggan looking for the choke but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee is taking a good look at Wilmore as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Duggan!
Wilmore is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Duggan gets his way!
Wilmore is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duggan is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Wilmore with him. Wilmore is trying to defend but Duggan has an arm under the chin now! Wilmore grimaces and is forced to tap out!
