Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Malcolm Craig (ranked 5116 p4p, 260 weight class) and Melvin Tucker (ranked 5910 p4p, 299 weight class). Malcolm Craig has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Malcolm Craig! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Melvin Tucker! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tucker throws the kick towards the body but Craig avoids it. Tucker throws a sloppy body shot
and Craig counters with a nice uppercut. Craig cracks Tucker with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Tucker has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Craig, as that shot connected.
Tucker shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Craig counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Craig closes the distance and clinches. Craig is struggling to control the position. Craig swings wildly with an uppercut but Tucker uses good head movement to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tucker tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Craig smiles and moves away.
Craig defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tucker. Malcolm Craig has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Melvin Tucker. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tucker lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Craig has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Craig and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Craig darts in and clinches Tucker up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Come on Craig - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Craig has Tucker pushed against the cage. Tucker wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Craig has him pressed against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Craig fails to land. Craig lands with a short shot to the head. Tucker wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A right handed body shot lands from Craig.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Craig will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tucker up against the cage. Tucker has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Craig is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Craig tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tucker drops down looking for an ankle pick but Craig pulls his leg out and moves away.
Tucker throws a head kick that misses. Tucker walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Tucker looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Craig has taken the fight to the clinch.
Craig stalls. Craig keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tucker's efforts to push away. Tucker has had enough of the clinch but Craig keeps him there for the moment. A short right from Craig. Tucker has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Craig avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Craig lands a hook to the side of the head. Tucker has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Craig lands a nice uppercut. Craig tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Tucker's elbow. Tucker tries to pull guard but Craig forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Tucker is trying to break the clinch but Craig has him pressed against the cage. Craig lands a hook that snaps the head of Tucker backwards. Craig lands with a left to the head. Tucker wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Tucker is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Craig is defending well. Tucker tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Tucker tries to throw a body punch but Craig avoids it by throwing Tucker back against the cage. Tucker jumps guard but Craig turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Craig has Tucker pressed against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tucker working hard to break the clinch. Tucker looking for a takedown. Craig lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Craig scores with a nice hook to the head. Craig scores with a shot to the side of Tucker's head. Craig effectively controlling the action here. Craig misses with a punch to the body.
Tucker tries to circle away but Craig has him pinned against the cage. Tucker is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Craig is defending well. Craig lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Craig misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tucker.

Tucker is working for takedown but Craig is calmly controlling the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Malcolm Craig dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Craig lands a shot to the body. Craig keeps control of Tucker as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Craig lands a hook that snaps the head of Tucker backwards. Tucker decides to pull guard. Tucker pulls Craig in to control the position. Tucker is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Craig has his hands clasped together but Tucker extends and breaks Craig's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Tucker.
