The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jodl fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Huber sprawls well initially but Jodl persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Jodl wants to lay and pray for a moment but Huber keeps working.

That was a close round but I would say that Buddy Huber will probably get the nod.

Huber darts in looking for a takedown but Jodl gets double underhooks and turns Huber into the cage.
Jodl shapes to counter with a head kick.

Jodl closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Huber to the mat! Huber manages to get full guard.
Jodl stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Huber swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jodl drops back looking for a leg! Huber is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Huber manages to kick Jodl off! Jodl jumps back into Huber's guard.
