Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Huber (ranked 25599 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Soares Jodl (ranked 4263 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buddy Huber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Soares Jodl! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jodl fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Huber sprawls well initially but Jodl persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Jodl wants to lay and pray for a moment but Huber keeps working. Huber is trying to maintain the position but Jodl is very close to passing his half guard. Jodl thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Huber is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jodl pulls his head out easily. Huber won't allow Jodl to pass to mount. Jodl lands strikes from half guard. Huber looking for submissions off his back. Huber has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Jodl is on him like a limpet, forcing Huber back against the cage. Huber jumps guard but Jodl turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Huber is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Jodl managing to block the knees to the body from Huber.

The crowd are getting on Jodl's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Jodl decides to pull guard. Jodl isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Huber stacks Jodl on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Huber! Jodl is looking to regain half guard here but Huber keeps moving and retains side control. Huber working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jodl wants to control but Huber is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Huber in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jodl is looking for a sweep. Huber is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Buddy Huber will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Buddy Huber's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Huber darts in looking for a takedown but Jodl gets double underhooks and turns Huber into the cage. Jodl shapes to counter with a head kick. Jodl closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Huber to the mat! Huber manages to get full guard. Jodl stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Huber swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jodl cracks Huber with a solid left hand. Jodl stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Huber is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Huber manages to kick Jodl off! Jodl jumps back into Huber's guard. Jodl wants to pass the guard but Huber is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Huber looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jodl wants to get up but he can't break Huber's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jodl trying to control but Huber is working from the bottom. Huber trying to keep a closed guard but Jodl is proving a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Huber pulls Jodl in close to prevent any damage. Jodl trying to control but Huber is working from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Buddy Huber is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jodl closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jodl lands in his opponent's guard. Huber really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jodl pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. And that's the end of the fight! Jose Soares Jodl comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jodl has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
