Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Gazell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duang Dwing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gazell comes to the cage accompanied by Du Hast. Don Gazell has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gazell misses with a wild body shot.
Gazell connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Gazell scoring well with a low kick there.
Gazell throws a hook to the side of Dwing's head but Dwing sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gazell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A combination from Gazell does no damage.
Nice sprawl there from Gazell as Dwing shoots in.
Gazell misses with a hook. Dwing ducked under it nicely.
Gazell looks to throw the jab but Dwing is out of range.
Gazell comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dwing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dwing looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Don Gazell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dwing shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gazell but Gazell pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Gazell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dwing was well out of range. Poor timing from Gazell.
Gazell fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dwing.
Dwing shoots in for a double leg but Gazell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Gazell connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Don Gazell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gazell throws a quick inside leg kick.
Dwing drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Gazell lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Gazell throws out a powerful jab.
Gazell throws a left that rocks Dwing and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Gazell dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Dwing regain composure!

Gazell stands up and beckons Dwing to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gazell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Gazell lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Don Gazell dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Gazell lands a glancing blow to the side of Dwing's head.
Gazell is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dwing can do to turn this around?
Dwing fails in his attempt to clinch.

Dwing closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gazell circles away.
Gazell stalks Dwing and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dwing's face. Dwing staggers backwards, shaken.

Gazell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dwing.

Dwing tries for a takedown but Gazell sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Gazell scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Gazell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Good leg kick by Gazell there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Dwing wants to clinch up but Gazell keeps it at a distance.
Dwing shoots in but Gazell avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dwing takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Dwing moves in looking to clinch but Gazell pushes him off.
Gazell throws out a powerful jab.
Dwing fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gazell throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gazell throws a nice outside leg kick.
Gazell lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Gazell.
Dwing is trying desperately to land a takedown but Gazell is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Dwing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Gazell's corner calls for a 1-2. Gazell obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Gazell lunges at Dwing with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dwing's hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Gazell cracks Dwing with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Gazell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gazell catches Dwing with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Don Gazell is winning the standup battle so far.

Dwing throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gazell's waist but Gazell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dwing off to one side.
Dwing takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Gazell throws a nice inside leg kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Gazell darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Dwing's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Dwing is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Gazell connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dwing. Dwing circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Gazell lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Gazell changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Gazell misses with a double jab

and Dwing counters with a single leg into guard. Gazell didn't expect that.
Dwing trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Gazell looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Dwing passes into side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gazell is looking to reverse the position.
Dwing has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Gazell!
Gazell is desperately trying to improve his position but Dwing has a good base and remains in mount.

Dwing punishing his opponent with strikes.
Dwing trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Gazell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dwing on the ground.
Dwing looking to control and managing it successfully.

Dwing has hold of Gazell's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gazell manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Gazell wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dwing trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Dwing pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Dwing can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gazell is looking to escape.
Gazell on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gazell tries to get out of the position.
Gazell is trying to escape the mount.
Duang Dwing has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Don Gazell is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Dwing is working for a guillotine from mount but Gazell frees his head quite easily.
Gazell tries to hold on but Dwing postures up.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Don Gazell.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gazell, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
