Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Lentz (ranked 6915 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conor Mcgregor (ranked 6656 p4p, 532 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Lentz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conor Mcgregor! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lentz moves forwards but Mcgregor connects with a nice, crisp jab. Mcgregor tries for a takedown but Lentz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Lentz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mcgregor manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Lentz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Mcgregor is looking for a sweep. Lentz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Mcgregor is trying to stand back up but Lentz is controlling him
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lentz prevents Mcgregor from improving his position. Lentz tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mcgregor knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Lentz is thwarting Mcgregor's attempts to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lentz trying to control the pace. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Mcgregor is looking for a sweep. Lentz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Mcgregor trying to control here.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Lentz throws a hook but Mcgregor avoids it easily. Lentz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mcgregor was covering up waiting for the punch and Lentz finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lentz sitting in guard, not really doing much. Mcgregor looking for a sweep. Not yet Mcgregor, not yet. Mcgregor looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mcgregor is trying to keep Lentz in close.
Lentz stands and throws Mcgregor's legs to the side, diving into side control. A lull in the action here as Lentz stalls from top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lentz tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Lentz taking a breather here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Lentz tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Mcgregor tries to improve position but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Lentz dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lentz shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Mcgregor trying to hold on to Lentz's head to control him but Lentz postures up.
Mcgregor throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Mcgregor is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Mcgregor manages to get to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lentz passes Mcgregor's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lentz tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mcgregor knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Lentz with the ground and pound but Mcgregor uses the opportunity to regain guard. Mcgregor escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lentz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Lentz is pushing down on Mcgregor's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mcgregor is fighting to maintain full guard but Lentz has managed to sneak the leg through. Lentz is taking a breather. Mcgregor says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Lentz wants to pass the guard but Mcgregor is defending well. Lentz trying to control the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lentz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mcgregor can do to turn this around? Mcgregor is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lentz seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Lentz shoots in and bounces Mcgregor off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Mcgregor pushes Lentz off and gets back to his feet.
Mcgregor throws a chopping leg kick but Lentz manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Lentz tries to counter with a takedown but Mcgregor is quick to defend against it. Lentz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mcgregor was covering up waiting for the punch and Lentz finishes the takedown easily into guard. Mcgregor looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mcgregor is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Lentz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lentz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Lentz won't allow Mcgregor to sweep him here. Lentz is stalling in the full guard. Mcgregor looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Mcgregor is breathing heavily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lentz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ryan Lentz will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Mcgregor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ryan Lentz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Excellent takedown into side control there by Lentz. Lentz tries to score with some ground and pound. Mcgregor controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Mcgregor prevents Lentz from moving into mount. Lentz working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Lentz looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lentz in side control, throwing shots but Mcgregor defends.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcgregor seems a little lost for a moment, as Lentz dominates the positioning. Lentz sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Mcgregor is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Mcgregor is looking to reverse the position. Lentz controls the position. Mcgregor dodges the ground and pound from Lentz. Mcgregor being controlled for a moment. Mcgregor avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Lentz.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lentz creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mcgregor sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Mcgregor is not content to let Lentz control the position. Mcgregor is looking for a sweep. Mcgregor is being controlled here. Ryan Lentz overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lentz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

He's persisting with it as Lentz sprawls well. Lentz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mcgregor gets slowly back to his feet. Mcgregor takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcgregor closes the distance and clinches up with Lentz, looking for a takedown. Mcgregor pushes Lentz against the cage but Lentz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lentz shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Lentz maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Mcgregor could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Lentz has cracked it and Mcgregor is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Lentz!
