Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Aguirre!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrade jabs Aguirre right on the nose. Aguirre blinks but takes it well.


It looks like Josh Aguirre has been cut.
Aguirre shoots for a double leg takedown but Andrade sprawls well. He's pushed Aguirre's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Andrade throws a sloppy head kick and Aguirre moves out of range easily.
Aguirre throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Aguirre ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Andrade moves away.

Aguirre scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Aguirre feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Aguirre looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Andrade is fending him off so far but Aguirre persists. Nope, Andrade circles away and we're back to standing.

Andrade throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Aguirre is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Andrade is just riding it out for now. Aguirre eventually gives up the hold.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Aguirre drops an elbow to the side of Andrade's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Aguirre crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Andrade - the referee stops the clock and Aguirre gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Andrade. Aguirre manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Andrade, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
