Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tank Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerald Hacker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tank Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gerald Hacker!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez tries to clinch there but Hacker circles away.
Tank Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hacker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hacker wants to pass the guard but Sanchez is keeping the position.

Hacker prevents Sanchez from getting back to his feet.
Sanchez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hacker closes the distance and clinches up with Sanchez, looking for a takedown. Hacker pushes Sanchez against the cage but Sanchez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hacker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sanchez but Sanchez pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hacker gets caught flat footed, as Sanchez shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Sanchez keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hacker's head.
Hacker avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Sanchez wants to stand and escape but instead Hacker has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hacker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Sanchez throws the kick towards the body but Hacker avoids it.
Sanchez scores with a one two! Hacker had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Hacker tries to clinch up.
Sanchez has his takedown stuffed
and Hacker makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Hacker is looking to clinch.
Hacker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hacker throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sanchez's head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hacker closes the distance and clinches up with Sanchez, looking for a takedown. Hacker pushes Sanchez against the cage but Sanchez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tank Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gerald Hacker.
Hacker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Hacker scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hacker prevents Sanchez from improving his position.
Sanchez is working hard here to advance position.
Sanchez throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Sanchez tries to kick Hacker off but Hacker keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Still in half guard, Hacker seems content to control.
Sanchez is looking to get back to is feet but Hacker passes into side control.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hacker needs to keep his hands up - Sanchez had a free shot at his head there.
Hacker shoots in and drives through. Sanchez sprawls well.

Sanchez has taken the fight to the clinch.
Sanchez will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hacker up against the cage.
Sanchez lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hacker backwards.
Sanchez lands a shoulder strike.

Hacker has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sanchez uses from the top position.

Hacker has closed the distance and engaged Sanchez in a clinch.

Hacker gets control of Sanchez's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hacker will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Sanchez wants to get up but he can't break Hacker's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Hacker has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Hacker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sanchez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Sanchez is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Hacker throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Sanchez!
Sanchez has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Sanchez rolls, trying to escape but Hacker keeps control of the position.
Hacker lands a shot to the body.
Sanchez wants to get back to his feet.
Hacker punishes Sanchez with strikes from the back mount.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sanchez holding both Hacker 's hands and preventing any damage.
Will Hacker go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Hacker lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Gerald Hacker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Sanchez throws a head kick that misses
and Hacker counters with a head kick.
No luck for Hacker with that takedown attempt.

Sanchez instigates a clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Sanchez.
Sanchez lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hacker backwards.
Sanchez is trying to drag Hacker to the mat but Hacker just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Hacker breaks from the clinch.
Hacker wants to clinch but Sanchez slips to the side
and Hacker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sanchez throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hacker counters with a body kick that stops Sanchez in his tracks momentarily.
Hacker pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Sanchez has Hacker up against the cage in a clinch.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Sanchez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hacker dodges the punch combination from Sanchez.

Hacker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sanchez counters with a left and a right that stings Hacker.

Sanchez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hacker keeping moving, preventing Sanchez from controlling successfully.
Hacker is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hacker manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Sanchez tries to hold on but Hacker pushes him away.

The referee warns Sanchez that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sanchez is looking to improve his position but Hacker isn't that keen on the idea.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Sanchez tries to escape but Hacker has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tank Sanchez.
I think Hacker has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
