Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose Aldo (ranked 3325 p4p, 330 weight class) and Yuki Shojo (ranked 2051 p4p, 221 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo feints and as Shojo raises his hands in defense, Aldo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Shojo has his feet on Aldo's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Aldo shoots for a takedown but Shojo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

We've been informed that Shojo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Well Shojo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
