Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Murray Garland (ranked 4173 p4p, 399 weight class) and Rodrick Shull (ranked 5130 p4p, 454 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Garland might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Muzzy on the Dancefloor. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Murray Garland!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rodrick Shull!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Garland.
Garland tries to counter with a takedown but Shull is quick to defend against it.
Garland drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Shull isn't going anywhere.
Garland decides to stand back up. Garland steps back and let's Shull get back to his feet.
Garland closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Shull did well to prevent Garland getting side control.
Garland seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Shull does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garland slows the pace down in half guard.
Shull won't allow Garland to pass to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Garland moves nicely into side control.
Garland landing strikes.
Shull being controlled for a moment.
Garland tries to stand but Shull is controlling his head.
Garland will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
A lull in the action here.
Garland has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Garland is looking to take a break and control but Shull is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Garland moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Garland tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Garland has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Garland working for a guillotine from mount but Shull is in no mood to give up.
Garland wants to finish this one by submission but Shull is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Garland.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Garland misses with a head shot.

Garland tries to control but Shull wriggling away.
Garland takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Garland wants to control the pace but Shull is squirming around nicely.
Garland controlling the position easily from mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Garland get's back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Murray Garland dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Garland takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Garland looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Shull!
Shull is looking to get back to his feet here but Garland is keeping cool and he's managed to take Shull's back.
Garland looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Shull taps!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Murray Garland!
Murray Garland spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
