Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boa Link (ranked 6327 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel King (ranked 25607 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 4 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Samuel King!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A leg kick checked by Link.
Link tries to counter with a takedown but King is quick to defend against it.
Link misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
King lands a glancing blow to the side of Link's head.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Link. King shrugs it off though.
Link throws a combination but it was largely blocked by King.
King is looking to clinch but Link is avoiding it.
King dives in and grabs Link's left leg, looking for a takedown. Link pushes down on King's head and hops out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Link lands with a nice body kick.
Both fighters circling a little - King finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
King feints and as Link raises his hands in defense, King changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Link has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. King has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
King escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
King misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
It looked like Link was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
King shoots in for a takedown but Link shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Link moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
King throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Link lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Link scores with a sloppy right hand. King should have avoided that one.
Link stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Link wants it to stay on the feet.
Boa Link has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samuel King.
A nice inside leg kick there by Link. That's going to slow King down.
Link bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
King looks to land a combination but Link avoids it well.
A combination from King does no damage.
Link drops down looking for a counter takedown but King sprawls and moves away.
King looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Horrible takedown attempt by King or perhaps it was just good defense by Link, which made it look bad.

King is trying to pull guard but Link turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Link lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Samuel King has been cut.
Link gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
King has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Link.
Link has picked King up - he's going for a ride! Link dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if King can do anything to dispel that myth.
Link moves into full mount! King won't be happy about that!
Link is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Link extends the arm and King is forced to tap!
