Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zygmunt Stec (ranked 25662 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Van Rijn (ranked 6143 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Zygmunt Stec! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mike Van Rijn! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Rijn looks to throw a body kick and Stec counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Stec slows the pace down in half guard. Van Rijn tries to kick Stec off but Stec keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Van Rijn gets back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Van Rijn wants to sweep here but Stec controlling him for the moment. Van Rijn trying to control the position.
Stec passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stec perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Van Rijn wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stec winds up and cracks Van Rijn with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Stec trying to control the pace. Stec is thwarting Van Rijn's attempts to control the position. Stec wants to work for an arm triangle but Van Rijn is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Van Rijn looks like he's trying to stand up.
Van Rijn taking some punishment here, with Stec in his half guard. Stec content to control rather than advance. Van Rijn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stec is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stec performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Van Rijn tries to roll over but Stec keeps him under control. Stec looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Stec lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Stec passes the guard and advances to mount! Van Rijn is desperately trying to improve his position but Stec has a good base and remains in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stec working Van Rijn over with strikes here. Van Rijn tries to get back to half guard but can't. Van Rijn tries to hold on but Stec pushes him away. Stec controlling from mount. Van Rijn tries to hold on but Stec postures up. Stec content just to control the position here. Van Rijn really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Stec really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Van Rijn tries to improve his position but Stec has taken his back! Stec has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Van Rijn tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Stec pushes Van Rijn away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
