Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Desmond Glass (ranked 827 p4p, 141 weight class) and Repe Sorsa (ranked 1095 p4p, 171 weight class). Glass comes to the cage accompanied by Across 110th Street by Bobby Womack. Sorsa has chosen Like a Bunny as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Desmond Glass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Repe Sorsa!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorsa defending well as Glass loads up on a big left hand.
Glass thows a leg kick but Sorsa checks it
and Sorsa counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looked like Glass wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Sorsa takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

We've been informed that Sorsa has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sorsa throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Glass is trying to control but can't.
Sorsa is nestled in close to Glass, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Desmond Glass.
