Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Kim (ranked 2253 p4p, 355 weight class) and John Fadden (ranked 2300 p4p, 364 weight class). Fadden has chosen Hate Song by THE HAUNTED as his entrance music. John Fadden has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 23 - 2, fighting out of New York, John Fadden!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fadden swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kim loads up on a big right hand but Fadden slips the punch.
Kim just misses with a punch to the body.
Kim ducks under a wild hook from Fadden.
Fadden scores with a body shot.
Fadden swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kim is looking to counter punch.
Fadden swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kim uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fadden.
Kim appears to be looking for a big counter.
Fadden takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Donk. Fadden catches Kim right on the button with a cross.

and Kim counters with a big head kick but Fadden shrugs it off.
Fadden throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
It appears Kim was looking to counter with a kick there.
Fadden misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kim catches Fadden with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Fadden takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Kim fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fadden.

Kim avoids the body shot from Fadden.

and Kim cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Kim takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kim is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Fadden slips a jab and a cross from Kim.
Kim is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Kim lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Fadden is still on wobbly legs! Can Kim finish him?
Kim throws a jab but it's blocked by Fadden.
Kim fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fadden looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Fadden seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Fadden looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Kim throws a hook but Fadden blocks it.

Fadden fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kim looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Fadden tries to move into range but Kim moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Fadden throws the left hand but Kim avoids the punch easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fadden. Kim does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Kim counters with a straight right hand.
Fadden takes a swing at Kim's ribcage but misses.
Kim fires out a quick counter leg kick but Fadden just manages to avoid it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kim ducks under a wild hook from Fadden.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Fadden checks a leg kick.
Fadden doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Nice uppercut lands for Fadden. That snapped Kim's head back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Roberto Kim will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Fadden chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kim can pounce on him.

Fadden connects with a right hand. Kim shakes it off.


Kim is rocked!
Fadden connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Kim to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Fadden!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). John Fadden!
A determined John Fadden didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
Roberto Kim spoke after the fight, saying 'HOOOODOOR!'.
