Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jansen Harumafuji (ranked 5388 p4p, 664 weight class) and Lyfe Wrecker (ranked 8467 p4p, 818 weight class). Lyfe Wrecker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jansen Harumafuji! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lyfe Wrecker! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harumafuji shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Wrecker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Harumafuji closes the distance and clinches up with Wrecker, looking for a takedown. Harumafuji pushes Wrecker against the ropes but Wrecker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Harumafuji fails with the takedown and Harumafuji takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jansen Harumafuji. That's going to take a lot out of him. Harumafuji with a lazy takedown attempt enabling Wrecker to counter with a crisp jab. Harumafuji shoots and misses and Wrecker counters with a lovely straight right hand! Decent striking displayed by Wrecker there. Harumafuji closes the distance and clinches up with Wrecker, looking for a takedown. Harumafuji pushes Wrecker against the ropes but Wrecker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Wrecker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harumafuji swats him away and circles back towards the center. Harumafuji has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Harumafuji there as he acknowledges the shot. Wrecker connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Wrecker swings for the body but Harumafuji moves out of range.
Harumafuji doesn't succeed with the takedown and Wrecker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Harumafuji shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wrecker manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harumafuji throwing strikes but missing. Wrecker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harumafuji. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wrecker trying to keep a closed guard but Harumafuji is proving a slippery customer.
Wrecker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Harumafuji forces his way into half guard. Wrecker looks like he's trying to stand up.
Wrecker is staying active underneath Harumafuji, who seems content to just control the action from this position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wrecker can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Harumafuji content to control rather than advance. Wrecker blocking the ground and pound attempt from Harumafuji. Harumafuji is pressing down on Wrecker's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wrecker is holding on for now. Harumafuji thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Harumafuji works his foot free and advances to mount. Harumafuji fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harumafuji working for a submission but Wrecker is keeping him at bay. Wrecker avoids a series of strikes thrown by Harumafuji.
Wrecker tries to hold on but Harumafuji pushes him away. Wrecker holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Harumafuji tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Harumafuji throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Harumafuji thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Wrecker is squirming around, avoiding Harumafuji's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wrecker really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Harumafuji throwing strikes here but Wrecker is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Harumafuji unloads with some shots from mount but Wrecker bucks and avoids them well.
Harumafuji controlling the position easily from mount. Harumafuji avoids the attempt from Wrecker to control. Harumafuji looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Wrecker is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jansen Harumafuji will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Harumafuji shoots in looking for a takedown. Wrecker tries to sprawl out of it but Harumafuji keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Wrecker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Harumafuji dives in and grabs Wrecker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wrecker pushes down on Harumafuji's head and hops out. Jansen Harumafuji seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harumafuji shoots in but Wrecker avoids the takedown attempt easily. As Harumafuji backs off Wrecker throws a huge counter combo but Harumafuji manages to avoid it all. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jansen Harumafuji. That's going to take a lot out of him. Harumafuji misses with a takedown attempt and Wrecker counters with a one-two to the body. Wrecker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wrecker goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Harumafuji drives through with a takedown into Wrecker's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Wrecker wants to get back to his feet but Harumafuji is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Harumafuji pushing down on Wrecker's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Harumafuji is trying to control the action in half guard but Wrecker is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wrecker keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Harumafuji working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Wrecker is trying to get back to full guard. Harumafuji seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Harumafuji seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Harumafuji is looking to advance position but Wrecker won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harumafuji controlling the action here. Harumafuji throwing shots but Wrecker is blocking nicely. Harumafuji has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Harumafuji wants to finish this one by submission but Wrecker is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Harumafuji. Harumafuji cracks Wrecker with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harumafuji with shots to the head and body - Wrecker looks very uncomfortable down there. Wrecker taking shots to the head. Harumafuji looking to control but Wrecker is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Harumafuji thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Harumafuji is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wrecker can do to turn this around? Harumafuji with the ground and pound from mount. Harumafuji prevents Wrecker from getting the reversal. Harumafuji wants to control the pace but Wrecker is squirming around nicely. Harumafuji looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harumafuji can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wrecker is looking to escape. Harumafuji breaks from Wrecker's wrist control and lands an elbow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Harumafuji has control of Wrecker's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wrecker regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Jansen Harumafuji dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Harumafuji gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wrecker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Wrecker tries to clinch up. Harumafuji fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wrecker fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wrecker lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

That's going to take a lot out of him. Harumafuji fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Harumafuji shoots in but no luck this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wrecker lands with a hook. Harumafuji tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Harumafuji changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wrecker tries to avoid it but Harumafuji manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wrecker to the ground. Wrecker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jansen Harumafuji is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wrecker lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Danga de danga de dang - Wrecker scores with a four punch combination! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Harumafuji throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wrecker's waist but Wrecker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harumafuji off to one side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harumafuji takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Wrecker is looking to clinch but Harumafuji is avoiding it.
Wrecker tries to bum rush Harumafuji with a series of wild strikes but Harumafuji uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wrecker connects with a single shot there. Harumafuji shoots for a takedown but Wrecker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A countering left hand to the body from Wrecker misses. Harumafuji fails with the takedown and Wrecker counters with a straight right hand. Wrecker looks to land a combination. Harumafuji sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. A combination from Harumafuji does no damage. Harumafuji shoots in for a takedown but Wrecker shows good takedown defense. Harumafuji throws a head kick that misses. Lyfe Wrecker seems to be getting the better of the standup. Harumafuji gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Wrecker to counter with a crisp jab. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harumafuji shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wrecker pinned against the ropes. Wrecker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Harumafuji gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Wrecker to counter with a crisp jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Harumafuji tries to keep at a distance but Wrecker has taken the fight into the clinch. Harumafuji escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Harumafuji throws a half hearted mid kick. Wrecker leaves Harumafuji with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Harumafuji fails with the takedown and Harumafuji takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Lyfe Wrecker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wrecker lands a nice hook to Harumafuji's body. Harumafuji takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wrecker scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Wrecker moves into the clinch. Harumafuji is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Wrecker breaks from the clinch.
Wrecker rushes Harumafuji and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Wrecker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wrecker darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Wrecker moves into the clinch. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Wrecker creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Jansen Harumafuji has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harumafuji is trying to stall.
Harumafuji drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wrecker breaks the clinch.
Harumafuji takes a shot right to the bread basket. No luck for Harumafuji with that takedown attempt. Harumafuji looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wrecker lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

And that's the end of the fight! Lyfe Wrecker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Harumafuji has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
