Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between The Hound (ranked 1012 p4p, 120 weight class) and Matt Smith (ranked 598 p4p, 72 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hound paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hound misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smith.

Smith is looking to clinch.
Hound takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Smith throws the kick towards the body but Hound avoids it.

Hound drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Hound shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Smith manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Smith tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Smith bucks Hound off and manages to get back to his feet!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that The Hound will probably get the nod.
