Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Numbers Carter (ranked 6628 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kodomo Hell (ranked 6624 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kodomo Hell!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter misses with a low kick.

Hell closes the distance and clinches.
Carter has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hell after a bit of a struggle.
Hell wants a takedown.
Hell tries to stall but Carter uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Carter is trying to drag Hell to the mat but Hell just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Hell pulls Carter into guard.
Hell preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Carter postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Carter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hell controls Carter momentarily but Carter frees himself.
Carter prevents Hell from getting back to his feet.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Hell has eaten all the pies!

Hell tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Carter defends well and Hell ends up having to push Carter into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Carter tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Hell manages to circle out of the way.

Hell clinches up with Carter and pushes him back against the cage.

Carter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hell shoots in looking for a takedown. Carter tries to sprawl out of it but Hell keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Carter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Numbers Carter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kodomo Hell.
Carter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Hell gets a clinch.
Hell wants a takedown.
Carter tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hell smiles and moves away.

Hell clinches up against the cage.

Carter fails to pull guard.

Carter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
No luck for Hell with that takedown attempt.
Carter went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Hell looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Hell cracks the inside of Carter's front leg.
Hell shoots in but no luck this time.
Carter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hell pinned against the cage. Hell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Hell tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hell somewhat.
Hell looks winded!

Carter drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Carter stands up over Hell, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Carter stands up and waves to Hell to follow him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Kodomo Hell will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Hell gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Carter tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hell just stands there and leans against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
