Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Milo Hardin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Timur Saloedko! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saloedko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hardin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Saloedko somewhat. Hardin is looking to counter with head kicks. Saloedko works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Saloedko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hardin counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hardin with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Hardin is looking for a kimura here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardin content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Hardin really is a fat lump. Saloedko wants to improve his position but Hardin is controlling well.
Saloedko is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hardin scores with a couple of nice shots. Hardin is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Hardin sitting and controlling from the half guard.

Saloedko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hardin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hardin decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Saloedko clinches with his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardin pulls Saloedko into guard.
Saloedko throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hardin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hardin has his foot on Saloedko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Saloedko works his way back into a safe position though. Hardin trying to strike off his back.

Saloedko stands and steps away. Hardin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Hardin fails in his attempt to clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Saloedko misses with a takedown attempt and Hardin counters with a nice double leg into guard. Milo Hardin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Timur Saloedko. Hardin stops Saloedko from standing up. Hardin is in close to Saloedko's body, working some short punches and elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Saloedko is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hardin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. It looked like Hardin was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Saloedko pushes Hardin up against the cage in a clinch. Hardin manages to pull guard.

Hardin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Saloedko defends it easily. Hardin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hardin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Saloedko is keen to just control but Hardin is a slippery customer. Hardin is trying to get back to full guard. Saloedko is stalling here. Hardin is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Saloedko seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Hardin has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Saloedko struggling a bit here.

Good composure under pressure. Hardin wants to stand but Saloedko has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Hardin takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Hardin wants to take a breather but Saloedko is having none of it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Saloedko ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
