The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lutz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lutz changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Rana moves into the clinch.
Rana keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Lutz's efforts to push away.
Rana tries a body shot but Lutz blocks it.
Lutz is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rana gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Rana lands a shoulder strike.
Rana has Lutz pressed against the cage, preventing Lutz from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
A right hand to the body from Rana.
Lutz is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Rana is defending well.
Rana tries a body shot but Lutz blocks it.
Rana digs a right hand underneath Lutz's ribcage. Lutz let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Lutz is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rana lands a nice shot to the body.
Still in the clinch, Rana scores with a nice short uppercut.
Rana lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lutz backwards.
Rana lands with a left to the head.

Lutz is rocked!
Rana lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Lutz to his knees! Rana keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
