Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karl Denke (ranked 119 p4p, 20 weight class) and Bomb Com (ranked 610 p4p, 102 weight class). Com has chosen Bombs Away as his entrance music. Bomb Com has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Com bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Denke throws a lazy right hand but Com sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Denke looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Com feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Denke's calf.
Com scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Com closes this distance looking for a takedown but Denke circles away.
Com motions for Denke to come forward. Com throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Com has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Denke stalks Com and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Com's face. Com staggers backwards, shaken.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Denke is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Com.
Com lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
