Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Edward Foster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Raymond Lock! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foster checks a leg kick. Lock throws a push kick but Foster slaps the foot to one side. Foster drops down looking for a counter takedown but Lock sprawls and moves away. Raymond Lock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lock shoots for a double leg takedown but Foster sprawls well. He's pushed Lock's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Foster throws a head kick that Lock semi-blocks.
It looks like Raymond Lock has been cut. Lock shoots in but no luck this time. Lock circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lock misses the shot to the body. Foster shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lock but Lock pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lock misses with a wild body shot. Foster wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Lock gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lock fails to pull guard.
Edward Foster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raymond Lock. Foster tries to pull guard but Lock forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Foster trying to stall but Lock improves his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lock gets underhooks to prevent Foster's takedown attempt.
Lock can't find room to land a body shot as Foster controls the action.
Lock is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Foster is defending well for now. Lock manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Lock trying to strike off his back.
Lock is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Foster rolls with it to try and escape but Lock cranks on the arm and Foster is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
