Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donnell Dickerson (ranked 6628 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Dwayne (ranked 9106 p4p, 0 weight class). Dwayne has chosen Are You Dead Yet? as his entrance music. Brock Dwayne has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Donnell Dickerson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brock Dwayne!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dwayne scores with a takedown into Dickerson's guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dwayne connects with a nice short shot to Dickerson's temple.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Dwayne takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Dwayne seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Dwayne looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dickerson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

It looks like Dwayne might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Let's hope that Dwayne has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Dickerson scores with a one two! Dwayne had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Brock Dwayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dickerson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dwayne just stands there and leans against the cage.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Dwayne wants to stand but Dickerson is controlling his posture from full guard.

Dwayne throws a big right hand that misses.
Dwayne seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Dickerson throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Dwayne shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dickerson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Brock Dwayne comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dwayne has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
