Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lew Rockwell (ranked 872 p4p, 115 weight class) and Stryker Payne (ranked 2073 p4p, 279 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rockwell might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Like a Rock. Stryker Payne has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stryker Payne!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockwell shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Payne counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Lew Rockwell has been cut.
Rockwell throws a predictable looking body shot
and Payne counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rockwell shoots in for a double leg but Payne sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rockwell shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Payne counters with a right hand to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lew Rockwell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rockwell gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Payne counters with a nice right hand that sends Rockwell toppling to the canvas! Rockwell scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Payne finish him?!
Rockwell is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rockwell misses with a takedown
and Payne counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
