Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Noah Owen (ranked 6590 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Doe (ranked 6596 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Noah Owen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Doe! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doe changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Owen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Owen is looking for a sweep. Doe is staying tight to Owen's torso, preventing him from escaping. Doe wants to stand but Owen is controlling his arm. Doe tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Owen is letting Doe control him for a moment. Doe trying to control the action but Owen is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Owen is looking to regain half guard here but Doe keeps moving and retains side control. Doe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Owen keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Owen is looking for a sweep. Owen sneaks back into half guard. Owen is refusing to be controlled, as Doe sits in half guard. Owen keeping control of the position. Doe is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Owen is pressing down on Doe's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Owen managing to control the position. Doe missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Owen is controlling Doe's posture.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A thudding body kick lands there by Doe!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doe lands a left and a right that send Owen crashing to the mat, dazed. Doe thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Owen is rocked!
It looks like Noah Owen has been cut. Doe has managed to clinch.
Oh Owen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Doe jumps into guard, dragging Owen to the mat.
Doe has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Doe is looking for a triangle but Owen pushes his legs off easily.
Owen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Doe is proving hard to escape from. Owen trying to control but Doe is working from the bottom. Doe looking for a guillotine here but Owen defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Doe pulls Owen in close to prevent any damage. Owen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Owen seems to have got his legs back now. Doe looks winded! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Owen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doe seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Doe working for a triangle but Owen defends it easily.
Owen scores with a decent looking elbow strike. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Doe trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Doe dominated that round. The cut man is working on Noah Owen's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Owen shoots in but no luck this time. A nice side step and Doe releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Doe darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Ground and pound from Doe. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Doe throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Owen is trying is best to control the position here. Owen tries to roll over but Doe keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doe controlling the action here. Owen wants to control but Doe is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doe is looking to advance position but Owen won't allow it. Doe trying to advance position but Owen counters by regaining guard. Doe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Owen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Owen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Doe throws a strike but Owen rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Doe looking to control but Owen passes into half guard.
Doe wants to control but Owen is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doe makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Doe. Doe avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Owen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Doe wants to sweep here but Owen controlling him for the moment. Doe working for submissions but it's allowed Owen to get to half guard.
Owen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Owen winds up and cracks Doe with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doe is trying to stand up here but Owen is controlling him well. Owen controlling the action here. John Doe has got the better of the ground game so far. Doe is looking for a sweep. Owen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Owen takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Owen in particular looking to stall. Doe wants to get back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Doe throws a half hearted mid kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Doe looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Doe gets the takedown into side control. Owen gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Owen moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Doe has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Doe is breathing heavily. Owen wants to sweep but no luck. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Doe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Noah Owen's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Owen throws a head kick but Doe moves out of range.
Doe feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Owen has control of Doe's left arm, preventing Doe from doing any damage. Owen keeping moving, preventing Doe from controlling successfully. Doe must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Owen pulls Doe in close to his closed guard and prevents Doe from doing any damage or advancing position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Doe throwing strikes from guard but Owen blocks nicely.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Doe changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Doe takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. This has been an exciting period of action! Owen wants to control but Doe postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Owen sneaks back into half guard. Owen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Doe is looking to take a break and control but Owen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Doe wants to free his trapped foot but Owen is holding on for dear life with his legs. Owen keeping hold of Doe's head, controlling as best he can. Owen moves into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Owen is pulling down on Doe's head. It's preventing any offense from Doe, at least for the moment. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Owen looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Doe sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Doe throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Owen tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Doe is in Owen's guard. Owen working a defensive guard here.
Owen pulls Doe in close to his closed guard and prevents Doe from doing any damage or advancing position. Doe pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Owen is keeping the position for now. Noah Owen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! John Doe is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Owen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Doe is aware though and is defending well.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Noah Owen. Well Doe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
