Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johnson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carter somewhat.
Carter throws a head kick that misses.
Nice uppercut lands for Johnson. That snapped Carter's head back.
It looks like Malik Carter has been cut.
Steve Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson rushes Carter and presses him up against the cage.
Johnson manages to break the clinch.
Johnson has Carter up against the cage in a clinch.
Carter keeps control of Johnson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Carter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Carter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Carter off to one side.
Johnson scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Johnson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Johnson misses with a few strikes there.
Johnson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Carter in his tracks.
Johnson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Carter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Steve Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Malik Carter.
Carter takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Johnson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Carter is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Johnson pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Carter can't find room to land a body shot as Johnson controls the action.

Johnson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Carter gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Johnson to counter with a crisp jab.
Carter uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Johnson.
Johnson jabs Carter right on the nose. Carter blinks but takes it well.
Danga de danga de dang - Johnson scores with a four punch combination!
Carter is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him?
That has opened up Malik Carter's cut even more.
Johnson drops Carter with a big left hand! Carter is injured, injured bad! Johnson jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
