Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Emmett Vaughn (ranked 9936 p4p, 0 weight class) and Floyd Reyes (ranked 5705 p4p, 0 weight class). Emmett Vaughn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Emmett Vaughn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Floyd Reyes! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vaughn takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Emmett Vaughn has been cut. Vaughn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vaughn wants it to stay on the feet. Vaughn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Reyes's waist but Reyes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vaughn off to one side. Vaughn sets himself, and Reyes steps forward looking for the clinch! Vaughn avoids it this time. Reyes tries for a takedown but Vaughn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Vaughn doesn't succeed with the takedown and Reyes counters with a lovely straight right hand! Vaughn on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Reyes. Reyes obviously looking to wear him down.
Reyes forces Vaughn back against the cage and clinches. Vaughn pushes off an throws an elbow but Reyes leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reyes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Reyes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vaughn as he avoids it easily. Emmett Vaughn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Floyd Reyes. Vaughn defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Reyes. Vaughn changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reyes bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Vaughn's head. Vaughn closes the distance and clinches up with Reyes, looking for a takedown. Vaughn pushes Reyes against the cage but Reyes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Reyes with a poor takedown and Vaughn counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Reyes manages to escape and get back to his feet! Vaughn with a lazy takedown attempt and Reyes counters with a nice uppercut. Vaughn is trying hard to land a takedown here. Reyes sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Reyes throws a fast counter high kick but Vaughn manages to duck under it in time. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Reyes fails with a takedown attempt. Reyes looks winded! Reyes lands a head kick. Vaughn smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reyes moves into range and clinches up with Vaughn. Reyes is working for takedown but Vaughn is calmly controlling the position for now. Reyes has Vaughn pushed against the cage. Vaughn is trying to drag Reyes to the mat but Reyes just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Vaughn successfully pulls guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reyes seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Vaughn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Reyes is one step ahead there. Vaughn controls Reyes momentarily but Reyes frees himself. Reyes won't allow Vaughn to get back to his feet. Vaughn uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Reyes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vaughn has Reyes pressed against the cage, preventing Reyes from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Vaughn tries to pull guard but Reyes won't allow it.
Reyes ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Reyes no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Vaughn wants to stand but Reyes is controlling his posture from full guard. Reyes utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Floyd Reyes dominated that round. The cut man is working on Emmett Vaughn's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vaughn decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Reyes, up you get! Vaughn clinches. Reyes drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Vaughn gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Reyes has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Reyes instigates a clinch. Vaughn is pressed up against the cage. Reyes has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Vaughn down to the mat. Vaughn avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Vaughn tries to clinch but Reyes moves out of range. Reyes has managed to clinch.
Reyes wants to stall.
Vaughn wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Reyes is trying to pull guard but Vaughn has him pressed against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reyes swings wildly with an uppercut but Vaughn uses good head movement to avoid it. Reyes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Reyes throws a lazy head kick and Vaughn counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Vaughn. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reyes has a closed guard, preventing Vaughn from standing up. Vaughn content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Vaughn gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Vaughn tries to close the distance and clinch but Reyes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Vaughn closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Vaughn lands in his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vaughn would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Vaughn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Reyes looking for a sweep. Not yet Reyes, not yet. Vaughn landing some decent shots from guard. Emmett Vaughn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Vaughn wants to get up but he can't break Reyes's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Vaughn stands and steps away. Reyes gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Vaughn instigates a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Vaughn wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Reyes gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Vaughn.
Vaughn tries to break the clinch but Reyes is controlling the position. Vaughn breaks the clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Vaughn tries to close the distance and clinch but Reyes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Vaughn takes one on the chin but seems OK.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Emmett Vaughn will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Emmett Vaughn's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Sloppy strikes from Reyes. Those never looked like landing. Reyes drives through and clinches with Vaughn against the cage.
Reyes lands with a short head shot on the inside. Reyes creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Reyes fails to pull guard.
Vaughn is trying to pull guard but Reyes turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vaughn tries to break free but Reyes pushes him back against the cage. Vaughn missing with knees to the body.

Vaughn slaps away a takedown attempt from Reyes, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reyes fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Vaughn half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Reyes gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Vaughn trying to stand up but can't free himself from Reyes's guard. Reyes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vaughn is one step ahead there. Vaughn tries to stand but Reyes is controlling from the bottom. Vaughn gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reyes slaps away a takedown attempt from Vaughn, before circling back to the center of the mat. Emmett Vaughn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Vaughn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reyes tries to avoid it but Vaughn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reyes to the ground. Reyes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Vaughn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Vaughn fails to pull the fight into his guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Reyes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vaughn as he jumps to the side. Reyes misses with a takedown attempt - Vaughn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Vaughn half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Floyd Reyes seems to be getting the better of the standup. Vaughn closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Vaughn lands in his opponent's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Reyes looking for a sweep. Not yet Reyes, not yet.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Emmett Vaughn. I think Vaughn has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
