The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaginov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Underwood swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Underwood can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Vaginov is looking to escape.
Underwood goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Vaginov turns into him and now he's in Underwood's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vaginov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Vaginov decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Underwood tries a head kick but it misses.
Vaginov steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Underwood.
Vaginov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Underwood tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Vaginov is in Underwood's guard.
Vaginov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Underwood swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Well Vaginov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
