Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve McKenna (ranked 3446 p4p, 469 weight class) and Broderick Hammerness (ranked 4796 p4p, 613 weight class). McKenna's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, My Buddy Steve - Zane Lamprey. Hammerness is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Man in the Mirror - Michael Jackson. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammerness lands a right hook to the body.
Hammerness throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck McKenna on the side of the head.

It looks like Steve McKenna has been cut.
Hammerness walks into a stiff left hand from McKenna.
McKenna swings for the body but Hammerness moves out of range.
Hammerness lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Hammerness uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McKenna.
Hammerness lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Hammerness feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends McKenna sprawling to the canvas! McKenna rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hammerness finish him?!

McKenna is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McKenna throws a right and a left that Hammerness avoids nicely.
Oh McKenna is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hammerness connects with a superb combination that knocks McKenna out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Hammerness before he can land any more shots to the unconscious McKenna!

Broderick Hammerness decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
